Something Ant (Peet) mentioned to me before - it might be a good idea to keep some areas of the site secure, such as the meets section and the classified areas, as we don't want just anyone gate crashing meets and the classified areas may include peoples phone numbers.

I think what we need is maybe a section of the site which is invite only... Kinda like a site for people that play games and get invited into a squad. They have the normal run of the mill forums for all that register to the site but another section that only 'Squad members' (if you like) can access.

Also NEVER post your phone numbers please on any section if you do so you are doing at your own risk.
Tell people to PM you, then give that person your phone number.

If I start locking the forum to new comers no one will look round and sign up because of the banter and talk I think will happen here.

Guests CAN NOT View Sale Items or Meets.

thats why admin and Mods are here at the end of the day. I check as many posts as possible and ill take out any rubbish and warn people.

I dont think at this present moment in time anything needs changing. I know what you are saying Phil and i could understand if we had been around for a while with a few hundred or a thousand members but we havent yet.

I think locking out the meets and classifieds to guests is all that's needed really.
