other forumsn so unfriendly.....

I have now been banned from one and had my signiture edited on another one.
both by people 250 miles away in a place called london.....
I am not mentioning names as i think all forums should be friendly to one another we are not at war.

This forum is about getting people from the North West together more, we are not outcast lol

If you are want to share links to forums etc on here thats fine with me its all about infomation to help BMW owners out. That what we are all here for to help and share info and chat about things.

So tell your friend etc about us by word of mouth etc or via email or pm as posting on the other forums is not liked very much, and we dont want to become the North West Forum that nobody likes haha.

You know you can help a forum member as you've seen information from another site but you carn't send them the link to the other site..

Think it happens when forums get bigger and they give members moderator powers and they turmn into little Hilters lol

oops! I've already put a link on e30 zone about this place. Positive responses so far though.#

We arnt bothered on here Phil mate. We dont see it as a competition or anything like that.

I will put a post on the Z3mcoupe forum as i know there are several northwest owners.

Its a very friendly forum with a small members base but they all seem to live in the south.

Preston also has a hotrod meet once a month, last time i went i saw 2 e36 m3's which were pretty close to showroom condition. I will spread the word if they are there next month.

i know i go there quite a lot too pal.

thats the way a forum should be, helping each other.... ive been a member on the zone for awhile and never had any issues with anyone on there, and so far been ok on here.

Lets wait till the trafford meet, yes you can take the mick because i may turn up in a chaved corsa or a ovlov, but dont call me fat, im sensitive

I think its great to have a "general" BMW site that is location based.

I'm very active in a very active Z3 Roadster forum which strikes a good balance between freedom to share info / have a bit of banter and keeping things on an even keel. Its can sometimes be a fine line to tread as even on the friendliest of forums there can be clashes of personality / cultural differences (we have a fair number of foreign active members and things do get lost in translation, but I think I can handle a Manc accent now )

Hear is hoping it will "take off" and develop over time. I think it will naturally be a 2nd forum for most who are probably active on model specific forums but I for one like the idea of mixed models and location based banter etc... so hopefully it will work ;-)

Been BANNED from another forum now, just trying to rally people together from the north west and get us together.

i found this site on bimmer forum, glad i did nice to have a more local forum.

too true mate, I dont know what it is but southerners are a strange breed and as for the banter they are just crap at it. Leave them to their shandys....

no what ye mean about other forums, may sound a silly request sometimes but may be a big thing to me even if it was how to change a bulb which a can do like lol i dont think any questions should be classed as stupid or haha you only drive a 316 not a 330 for instance theese sits are about all bmws in my mind not just a set model .well that s my opinion any way thats my rant over

you don't even have to own a BMW on this site, as long as you like them haha.

We are friends with nearly ALL Bmw forums.
