It was "interesting" coming to work this morning on the bike, drove through 2 or 3 areas where the road was flooded all the way across!

Apparently gale force winds are expected later today too Evil or Very Mad

I'm actually looking forward to winter now, at least if it snows I can go out and play in the land rover Laughing

I am bored of this weather its supposed to be SUNNY!!!!
I am not looking forward to the snow in my car... last year just before it snowed my 535i was wrote off, and I ended up in an Insignia for 2 months until Christmas, it was rubbish in the snow.
Joe kept struggling on a hill on Cromwell Road in Preston, around the corner from our homes. We go down it EVERY day going to work. I ended up walking it, it was quicker and easier only a mile.

It is shite, last winter was crap too. I found myself not being able to get to jobs. I was in my old van then (a vauxhall combo) struggling to get up hills. One day I couldnt get to a job as I could only get half way up the hill before sliding backwards, then a 4x4 came flying past and p'd on my chips. As for the car it stayed in hibernation till my bro's alternator packed up which I had to fix because he's useless. This meant my car had to be lent to him to commute to work at 5mph in the snow. I cant wait for some decent weather, but doubt we'll have some anytime soon Mad

the insignia I had was FWD. Fwd cars are also good if your back wheels fall off.

Don`t know when we had that snow last year i had to deliver a mini to leeds ...Got up and it was under a cover of deep snow could not see the mini ...backed out and drove it to leeds not a problem ..Changed it for a Golf GTI 55 plate and that was a bitch to drive in the snow got it home went to drive in were the Mini came out from and got stuck going in ...could not move it had to dig it out

Hell of a lot of Bemmers and mercs on the hard shoulder of the M62 tho as i was driving upto leeds
