Just got myself a netbook

Just got myself a netbook with mobile broadband.
Is it just me or is Windows 7 (starter edition) gash!?
Doesn't seem to be any better than vista. It won't even let me change my desktop picture!!
Dunno if I should put linux on it, upgrade to home premium or just scrap the netbook idea completely and stick with using the laptop and iphone?

windows seven on netbooks is crap. i run ultimate 7 on my two pcs. Made sure i bought a xp netbook for the mrs.

Just been looking into installing mac os x but people report having some problems with that. XP is another option but I'm really starting to hate windows!

I gave up on windows years ago I use both linux and a mac the only problems I have had is the odd program that I can't run.
