Great start to hols!!

Well I finished work on friday and start of a nice hols, off till 3rd may, woohoo!! Anyway onto the best bit!

My leg was a bit sore on friday night, didn't think nothing of it as i'd been working on car during week and thought i'd probably bumped it and was just bruised. Woke up saturday morning and leg was swollen like a balloon, couldn't walk on it, and bright red. So decided better go A&E. Well got there and was seen, and i've got an infection, cellulitus, so spent sat, sun and mon to and fro from A&E having antibiotics through a drip. Monday doc told me to keep off my feet, and self certify and go back thursday. So of all the times I could be ill it's when the suns shining, i'm meant to be on holiday. To top it off the antibiotics means I can't drink, as it'll stop them working properly, so all this hot weather and not even a single ice cold beer. Sad

Well lets hops that after weekend i'm better and able to get on with fixing car, then I can have a few beers too.

PS - Moral is, if you get an infection, get it seen to straight away, I was going to leave it till mon and go docs, but glad I didn't as on sunday my whole lower leg was red and swollen and very sore. It's amazing how quick it spread, and even more amazing that I managed to have a needle put in my arm without passing out as I hate them!

Cellulitus eh? Does that mean you have cellulite? Laughing

Sounds rough mate. Hope it clears up ok. Gutted about the no beer. It's what sunny days are made for.

Cheers rob, I hope it clears up and doesn't leave any scars or it'll be a case of no shorts in summer!! Well plenty of PS3 to play on, but it's so boring being stuck inside and not being able to do things I wanted to do, brake pipes on car being number one!!
