Oldest and newest cars on the forum?

Post by MrBrown on Sun Oct 23, 2011 6:47 am

Just something to get people talking, who has the oldest and newest BMWs on here?

As a bonus, who has owned the oldest car ever on here? My mum had an old T reg (1979?) Volvo 66, I'm sure someone can beat that

My BMW is a T reg 1999

My Dad had an S reg Morris Marina. But before that he had an Austin 1300 which had the reg number TCE 171K. I think that was black number plate.
Im very sad and remember all the number plates of the cars my dad has had Laughing

I'm probably in the middle somewhere, mine is a 1998 R.

Oldest I've owned is a 1985 XR2 fiesta

My e30 is a G plate 1989. My first car was a 1955 Morris 1000 with a split windscreen and pneumatic wipers that went slower the faster you drove. It had the old semaphore indicators, was a horrid gunmetal grey but had red leather upholstery with little leather loops as internal door handles. Wish I had it now. Think the reg was SKY and 3 numbers. It was a lovely little thing.

Sell both and buy an m5!

There's an M5 for sale by me for £15k, I'd be tempted if I wasn't so scared of potential repair bills if anything goes wrong.
